Adeboye Opens Malachy Micro Finance Bank In Calabar

Categories:

The minister in charge of Region 14 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Richard Adeboye, on Tuesday formally declared Malachy Microfinance Bank in Calabar, open to the public.

While unveiling the bank, Adeboye charged the management of the new bank to be forthright and exemplary in its conduct.

He expressed optimism that because the bank was founded on
Godly principles, she will no doubt be able to meet the demands of its
prospective customers.

Pastor Adeboye prophesied that the bank will usher in all
round prosperity in Cross River State, adding that the economic
recession is an opportunity for Nigerians to look inward.

“I pray that the services Malachy Micro Finance Bank has
come to render will bring prosperity and enlargement to us. So many
banks have come and they have closed down, but in Malachy Micro Finance
Bank, we must make a difference.

“The only way we can make a difference has to do with the
subject matter of integrity. We have to make it one of our core values.
We cannot run it the way the people of the world run their own.

“The name of the Lord is already at stake here. Therefore,
we must run it on the platform of integrity. Nobody must be disappointed
here, nobody must be frustrated here. If we run things the way God
wants us to run things; we won’t be out of the market at all”, he
admonished.

Earlier, in his welcome remarks, acting Chairman, Board of
Directors, Malachy Microfinance Bank, Pastor Kunle Oladokun, said the
bank was set up to revolutionize microfinance banking in Nigeria.

He said the bank’s vision is centered on prosperity for all
through the provision of inclusive business advisory and financial
services to Nigerians, especially the marginalized in the society.

Oladokun said the bank will give preference to the
physically challenged persons, as well as the women folk, through the
development of customized products to meet their entrepreneurial needs.

According to him, “Malachy Microfinance Bank, MMFB, is a
new microfinance institution setup to revolutionize microfinance banking
in Nigeria.

“The unique selling proposition of the bank is in its value
of inclusion. We are determined to expand the frontiers of
opportunities for everyone, including segments of the population that
are ordinarily not seen as bankable, such as physically challenged
people and women.”

The occasion, which was witnessed by the branch Controller
of Central Bank of Nigeria in the state, Dr. Graham Kalio, attracted
several ministers of the gospel, including the minister in charge of
RCCG, Cross River Province 4, Pastor Chidi Emmanuel.
